The 4th Trimester- Sleep, eat, shower, breathe, all the basics. Learn strategies to take care of yourself and your new baby during your “4th Trimester”. This class is a must before having baby and bringing baby home. Learn techniques for bathing, swaddling, feeding and nurturing baby as well as postpartum care for mom, mind and body. $45 for non-members, $40 for members (priced per couple) Next workshop: Saturday, April 24th or Saturday, June 12th 9:30am-12noon.
Breastfeeding Basics and Essentials provides mother to be and parents to be the needed information regarding the beneficials of breastfeeding, how to breastfeed, overcoming obstacles and more. Certified Lactation specialist and counselor, Robin Goulding, RN, IBCLC, will guide you through expectations and techniques to make you feel more confident in nursing your soon to be newborn.

Viacord Baby 411- Come join us for an informative seminar, aimed at educating expecting families on the benefits of cord blood banking. This session is to provide general information about stem cells, current and future uses of cord blood stem cells, and the benefits of family banking. Information will be provided by a local ViaCord cord blood specialist. Saturday, May 1st 11am-12noon. Free!

Ready Set TWINS!-A must for those expecting multiples! 90 minute workshop geared towards managing multiples before and after their arrival. This informative workshop will help parents, whether first-time or veterans, prepare for the demands of twin newborns: needed supplies, setting up feeding and sleeping schedules, logistics and more. $30 members, $35 non-members. priced per couple. New Mom and Family…

Infant/Child CPR- Learn from a local Norwell firefighter/EMT and get certified in the most important thing you can do for your child- keeping them safe! $35 per participant. Next session Saturday, April 17th 9:30-11:30 or Tuesday, May 11th, 6:30-8:30pm. Limited spaces available.
Making your Child’s Mark Event- This is your chance to have a lasting impression of your little one through pottery or jewelry. Salt Marsh Pottery is coming to Mamas Move again to have your child’s handprint, or footprint made into a memorable gift or keepsake. Call for more details- appointment is needed. Baby Steps is the next best thing for mom and baby 6 months- 1 year. This class details development skills weekly through play and activities. Each week learn new things about your growing baby as well as put them into action. Led by our own in house child development expert, Kerry Dailey. Mondays 10:45-11:30am, Next session begins May 24th, 8 weeks. Free for core members, $120 for non-members. Register early, limited to 8 participants.
Moms Know Best Support group for new moms with babies birth to 6 months. These classes offer mom and baby a chance to bond, get to know each other and learn about baby’s new developments as well as issues on sleep, feeding and more. Newborn-6 months. Facilitated by Jennifer Moyer, post partum neonatal nurse, and Kristen Banks, holistic therapist. Fridays from 10-11:15am, Next session begins June 11th- 7 weeks. Free for core members, $120, non-members. Register early, as these fill up!
