i love red shoes, bags, coats, strollers, diaper bags. i just really love red. apparently so does the little one.

in a previous life this outfit would have been paired with black, silver or some other “neutral” shoe. today i choose red. why? because i love red and there is no reason why i can’t wear them with non-monotone outfits.

i’m learning it’s all about neutrals. black, brown, grey, tan, mute shades of green, blue, etc. i’m starting to think that everything is a neutral, except red. red is definitely not a neutral.

tried a few necklaces on with this one but just couldn’t find one i liked. or maybe i just wanted to show off my collar bone since its the only unchanged part of my body since becoming a mom. collar bones: they’re so hot right now. [zoolander reference]

my first day with a new hair cut and a new wardrobe and i come to find out that black + tan actually match! who knew? i was also so wonderfully corrected by my uber-fashionforward sister that these were not brown, but in fact tan flats. guess i need to brush up on my crayola colors.
