Fit Mom and Baby Workout Class
This class is perfect for mom and non-mobile baby (6 weeks-6 months) to bond and help mom get back into prepregnancy shape. Keep baby next to you as you perform exercises specific to building back strength, stamina, and your body; include baby in certain exercises and make it fun! Drop in as a core member or purchase 8 weeks for $120. Led by Lauren Hendry, certified pre/post natal fitness specialist and co-founder of Mamas Move!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Pre/Post classes are designed with the expectant and new mom in mind. All exercises are safe and effective based on ACOG guidelines and ASCM guidelines for building strength, stamina and flexibility for your big day and beyond. Non mobile babies are always welcome and encouraged to join in! Offered: Yoga and Pilates
Zumba-is a fiery Latin and international dance class guaranteed to help you find your groove! Great for all levels- truly a fun way to sweat! If you haven’t Zumba’d, you haven’t really moved!
Zumba-tone- take the sizzle of Zumba and add pilates/core conditioning to get that midsection you are looking for (or get back!)
Spin is a stationary cycling class proven to burn calories and get a mean workout! Includes 15 minutes of core/strength work. (not recommended in third trimester or newly post partum)
Ride and Rip combines the best of spinning class with 20-25 minutes of upper body and abdominal strength training using bodyweight, bands, and medicine balls. Zen Ride includes spinning and yoga. Parent Spin is for dad too! ($7 fee for guest)
Boot Camp Mama is total body workout combining weight training, body weight exercises, as well as cardiovascular drills. Class may be outdoors or indoors to give you that true boot camp style workout. (not recommended in third trimester or newly post partum) Returning this summer.
Circuit Blast is a true circuit training class with strength training stations and bursts of cardiovascular fun: step, aerobics, plyometrics and more. May be instructed with individual circuit stations or as a simultaneous group workout.
EMPOWER Boxing! is a Cardio Boxing/Kickboxing class for mom who is looking to empower herself. Classes involve kickbox choreography and sport specific drills. (not recommended in third trimester or newly post partum) May use gloves, mitts and heavy bag to get the ultimate boxing experience.
On the Ball workouts use the stability ball to include core strengthening while working your upper and lower body. (all welcome)
Pilates with Props classes are designed to work your core muscles, regain your midsection and provide a whole body workout. Perfect for losing that mommy middle! (not recommended in third trimester)
Vinyasa Yoga includes a flowing format of yoga poses linked to breath. From downward dog to your most powerful and beautiful warrior pose- our instructors will take you on a journey. (all are welcome)
Power Yoga brings more stamina and strength into your yoga routine. Perfect way to balance your om and your body.
NEW…Fit Mom and Baby Workout! – a true mom and baby fitness class. Bring your little one (birth to crawling) for a chance to bond with baby while doing exercises to get you back into prepregnancy weight!
Express Classes: 30 minute classes for the quick, effective workout. Select from: Boxing Express (cardiokickboxing choreography), Total Body Xp (muscle conditioning), Yoga Express (basic yoga and total body stretching), Step Express (traditional, easy to follow step aerobics). Take one, take back to back, take for a speedy workout!
Fit Mamas Move Stroller Class is for mom with baby, toddler or even preschooler in tow. Classes will be held at Pond Meadow Park (Hanover Mall during inclement weather) and include a mix of cardiovascular and strength training exercises for a total body workout. Restarts Mondays, April 26th, 2010 9:15-10:15am at Pond Meadow Park in Braintree. Call for more info.
